McCreary County High School
Class of 1957

These are the chronicles of the Class of 1957 at McCreary County High School that was located in Whitley City, Kentucky.  Each of the four years of the class is displayed as we progressed through school.  It was a journey that took us all in to many destinations.  But none of us has ever forgotten the beloved Maroon and White of the Indians.

The pictures that are contained here are of past Class of '57 reunions with the most recent being the 50th reunion which occurred on October 6, 2007. The pictures of the Freshmen through Senior classes have be taken from various yearbooks and have provided by classmate Jack Koger.  Thanks to Jack and other classmates who have worked very hard in the upgrade effort this website has become a meaningful and cherished history of the MCHS Class of 1957.  The Class has appointed a committee to explore an effort to establish a memorial to all of the students and teachers who attended and taught at the old school building.  We will be updating and adding information about the effort as it becomes available.  So visit this site often and let us know what your input may be no matter what capacity your association was with the old MCHS.  Send us your email address and we will gladly add you to our list of informational updates.
